20 June 2015 - The Indian community in Darwin once a year Indian Festival called the Darwin's annual India@Mindil event went off with a BIG Bang with more than 20,000 visitors enjoying the festive of colours, glitz and glamour well into the wee hours of the night. Dancers, both local and international, show off Bollywood styles and traditional dances from the Indian states of Gujarat and Orissa. Walking around visitors enjoyed the sounds of India mingled with the aromas and smell then taste all the delicious spiced curries, koftas and dahl that the Indian Festival at Mindil Beach brings to an otherwise boring Darwin Saturday evening
