Pine Creek is one of the most expensive towns to stay in with rooms at $130, mining has really come to Pine Creek with a steel and gold mine, but because of the drop in steel/gold prices both mines will be closing, still for a "no-where" town accommadation is expensive

It's getting late so here we stay in "backpackers accomadation" for $30 pp night and head off to Kakadu in the morning
